Rescue and Relax: a Pittsburgh cat lounge

Fun spot to interact with the cute cats. There is much attention and care given to these cats. There is careful consideration given to matching adoptable cats with the best forever homes. The really great thing is that there is no pressure to adopt. If you just want to hang out and play and cuddle with the cats, that's fine. The attention helps the cats be more comfortable with people. Everyone wins! The Cafe is self-service with donations. This is a great place to introduce kids to cats.

Super friendly staff that will answer any question you have! I love the at homeness, it feels like you’re in someone’s living room with loads of adorable cats. Perfect place to unwind, read, and most importantly support and nurture these wonderful cats!!!

Cute place with a comfy/clean environment. The cats seem quite content there. They have lots of different places to nap, and lots of toys and things to entertain them. I love that they're able to play and snuggle with each other instead of being trapped in little individual cages. Saw a couple kitties giving each other baths, and really hope they can find a home together! Also there are some kids toys there, which was great for my little one to be able to play and not bug the cats. It would be very helpful to bring your little one there to see how the cats tolerate them, since many cats don't prefer children.
